PAPER GUIDELINES & TEMPLATES
While preparing their manuscript/paper for submission the author(s) should follow the Article Template (Click here to download the Article Template) if the manuscript they are submitting is an original article. If the author(s) are submitting a review article (state of the field) they should follow the Review Template (Click here to download the Review Template) . The formatting of manuscripts/papers is important in order to have a consistent appearance. All margins, column widths, line spaces, and text fonts are prescribed, so please do not alter them. Authors are required to follow the instructions of the APA 7th Edition for in-text citations and references. The instructions of the APA 7th Edition for citing references in the text and for preparing the Reference list can be found here: APA Style Guide 7th Edition
The authors should submit their manuscript/paper in Microsoft Word format (doc., or docx.) by using our online submission form. Alternatively, author(s) can send their manuscript to the IJBS’ institutional email: ijbs@unyt.edu.al
The paper must be written in English and carefully checked for spelling and grammar before submission. Authors can use either American English or British English
The manuscript/paper must be written in accordance with the following guidelines:
Paper Guidelines
Font: Times New Roman
Alignment: Justify
Size (pt): Text – 12; Abstract, Keywords, or Footnotes - 10
Text (paragraphs): Indented
Titles of sections: in Bold, Centered
Titles of Sub-sections: in Bold, Left-aligned
Paper Structure
The articles (papers) submitted to IJBS should comprise three parts:

Paper’s section structure (Sections and Sub-sections)

First page should include:

Title (14 pt, bold, centered)
-
Author/s (Institutional Affiliation, Country)
-
Author Note (Where available please include your ORCiDs, Disclosure statement, Funding details if available, Acknowledgement (optional), Correspondence Author’s Full address)

Second page should include:

Abstract (10 pt, justified, non-idented, 250 – 300 words)

Keywords (10 pt, maximum 5 words)

Original Article's section structure should include the following sections. It is upon the discretion of the author to include and name other sections besides the ones indicated below. Authors are free to name and include relevant sub-sections of each section whenever deemed necessary

References
Reference list should be on the last page (a new page: apply Insert/Page Break)
The page begins with the word References (Centered, in bold, 12 pt).
The reference list should be single-spaced.
The References should be presented according to the APA 7th Edition
Please include in the References list only those references that were actually cited in the text of the paper. All work that is cited in the text also needs to be in the References. There must be a total agreement between the two.
Table and figures
Figures, tables, and equations must be inserted in the text or may not be grouped at the end of the paper. Tables and figures must be numbered, centered and should be placed close after their first reference in the text. Please double check the numbering of these elements before you submit your paper. The table or figure headings should be placed as justified above the tables or figures. Figures and tables not cited in the text should not be presented.
